British interior designer Matthew Williamson recently redecorated his London flat. The newly pink living room used to be a shocking turquoise and the kitchen has gone from white to pink, although the cobalt blue pendant lights still remain. (The living room pink is Lido by the Pickleson, in case you’re wondering. We definitely were, as we’d also recently painted the living pink.) A mid-1800s Italianate-style semi-detached house in north-west London, the bones of the place were already beautiful, with original crown moulding and herringbone floors, but Williamson’s unique use of pattern and colour takes things to another level. Scroll through for a glimpse of this vividly cheerful home. Styling by Alyce Taylor.
