Interior Designer Miguel García Valcárcel’s Madrid home is a study in light, with antiques and contemporary art intermingling with sculptures, ceramics, and wicker, as well as a thriving ficus Peñotes for a bit of green and striking pink cherry blossom arrangements throughout the space keep the palette from being too monochromatic. By removing partitions and opening up the space, García Valcárcel was able to create in this Chamberí district of Madrid space, “An open, inviting and comfortable for receiving friends home.”
